New characters announced.

According to multiple sources, Game Informer magazine confirmed four more characters. Two returning characters and two new characters. The two returning characters are Marvel's Captain American and Capcom's Felicia from Darkstalkers. And now for the new characters...

The two new characters are Marvel's Deadpool and Dante from Devil May Cry.

And I do not mean to be spreading rumors, but Times News Line RUMORED that Gene from God Hand and Mia Fey from Phoenix Wright will be in the game:

Kotaku.com reports that Udon is hoping to make a Marvel vs. Capcom comic! I hope so, too!

Pc World Australia and Gamepro have both speculated that Gene from God Hand will bein Marvel vs. Capcom 3 as well as...Mia Fey from Phoenix Wright? Does she even fight?

Speculations on new characters?

Kotaku.com has posted an image of what they believe are the silhouetted characters in the background. According to their guesses, the following characters MAY be in the game:

Should it be safe to assume that Super Skrull, Captain America, Black Widow, Deadpool, Felicia, Frank West, and Chun Li are all in the game? I hope to see Frank West vs. Chris Redfield in this game. I know that's more like "Capcom vs. Capcom", but still. It's some form of crossover!

Tag team mode and combos.

Good news: The game will not be restricted to one-on-one fighting! According to Gamespot, there will be a three-on-three tag team mode. There will also be "aerial combos, hyper combos, and other new combos. Hmmm. I wonder what the new combos are.

EventHubs has a trailer on their YouTube page for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Wolverine, Ryu, Morrigan, Iron Man, Hulk, and even Chris Redfield are in the trailer!

What is also interesting is that according to this web site, Akuma, Venom, and Mega Man are rumored to be in the game. Here is the list of officially confirmed characters so far:

Maybe I should also include Chun Li because I saw her sillouhette with the Capcom side in the trailer. And I don't want to start any rumors, but the character in the center behind the Marvel logo looks like Deadpool! If he is in this game, I hope he has the Shoryuken move he once performed in a comic!

(But the silhouette that looks like Viewtiful Joe may in fact be Felicia.)
